New to the area

Hi there, in June I will be moving to just outside Hungerford with my husband and 2 year old son and we will be totally new to the area, which I'm quite nervous about. Is there anyone who would fancy meeting up for a coffee / playdate with similar aged kids? I'd love to make some friends in the area asap. Thanks! X

Hi Luisaw, I'm afraid our Local Board is rather tumbleweed... There are several local MNetters but most of the ones I know have teenagers rather than toddlers, including me. However this might give your post a bump!

Hi Luisaw. I also have older children but made all my local friends through groups and classes at Hungerford Childrens Centre. I would really recommend it. It's really a lovely place to live. Good luck! There is also a fab facebook group called Hungerford Ladies Group which has thousands of local people on it!
