Salfords Primary school?

Hello all

I have found a really lovely house, but the primary school in the catchment area is Salfords Primary school. I have heard its not great and also has a ofsted report of inadequate.
There is another school inside the catchment are which is 3 miles away, which is not ideal traveling wise, but rated as "good".

Any local people know the deal with Salfords primary? Is it that bad?

I saw your post from 2017 about moving to Salfords in Surrey. I hope that move went well and you are settled into your new home.
My husband and I have found a house we want to buy in Salfords so I keen to find out some more information about schools, local area and things we should be aware of.
Perhaps you might be able to help me on some of these questions...
Did you find a primary school nearby and how have you found it?
What is the village like? Nice community?
Do you hear a lot of plane noise?
On wiki it mentions a stream that can cause flooding in the village in winter months? Has this been an issue & is there any problems with getting house insurance?
