My son has a friend who is always in our house, has lunch, tea, sleepovers, stays here when his parents are out/working. I take him for days out, never accepting money from his mum to take him. It was his birthday and we gave him a present etc. Just discovered he had a birthday party and my son didn't get invited. It was only boys from his football team that got an invitation, but I am quite upset that as his "best" friend my son could not have been included too. Am I overreacting?
