Knightswood / Scotstoun?

Thinking about moving to Knightswood / Scotstoun / Scotstounhill area, ideally easy walking distance from a train station. We have a little boy (4) so looking for recommendations / warnings about particular areas and schools. Any bits to avoid? Good schools? Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks :)

My kids go to Corpus Christi in Knightswood. It's a good school, no real problems. There are a lot of schools round here though, would you go catholic or non-denominational?

Thanks MygirlKeith. I think probably non-denominational would be our preference but wouldn't rule out other options.

The bit near Scotstounhill train station is very nice - Esslemont Ave etc - and is in catchment for Scotstoun Primary.

Thanks judybloomers :) Yes, I like the look of that bit, need to be close to the train station.
