I have two little ones, eldest is 4 years and the other 6 months. Seeking new friendships and meet-ups in the area that doesn't involve having to pay for activities. Any suggestions on where i can go?

Has your home visitor given you a list of local toddler groups? They are the cheapest option and tend to have more or less the same visitors each week so that you and your children can get to know others in the area.

They're very cheap and you can arrange Park visits/dog walks/pram runs with like-minded people from there.

Hi I asked but was told everything is online. Most of what I see you have to pay for except the bounce and rhyme in the library. As far as I know there is no pram walks in my area as I asked about it. Thanks anyway.

There's pram walks at Rouken Glen and also at the park in Busby (
name escapes me ), if you feel like a change of scenery there's also one in Queens park and Glasgow Green.

There is a Pram walking group called Whitelee Stroller Striders at the Whitelee wind farm. Also there is a fb page called Mearns Girls Run where you can find details of a 5k walk/run every Friday morning in Rouken Glen, kids and prams are welcome. Which part of East Ren are you?

Have a look on facebook or Google mummy social. Its a brilliant site for meeting other mums.

Thanks. I'm not driving so these things are not in my reach apart from Rouken Glen. I'm in the stamperland area. I also have time restrictions as I have my elder one in nursery for 3 hours and need to be back to collect him. I will check the mummy social website. Thanks for the suggestions.
