La Fontaine school

Does anyone know whether La Fontaine will be moving into their new building in Nightingale Lane for September 2017? It all seems to have gone very quiet......

I don't know either but I really doubt it. The building needs a lot of work doesn't it?

The step academy trust assured me last year that the building would be renovated in time for September.

They have never planned to do all the work in one go. The kids will be moving in in September, but it is a really big site and work won't be complete until 2018. It sounds amazing. Meetings with the architects are taking place and works will be commencing in time for September 2017.

Do you think it's a big site? I have only seen it from Bickley Primary's playground but it doesn't look that big - compared to the other schools nearby.

I hope they are ready to move in this September. Cutting it fine if they haven't started work yet though.
