Seems to be dead here but I'm 10 weeks pregnant without any pregnant friends and so was hoping to find some local friends in the same boat.

I live in Idle, am 30 and am due in August 2017 x

Yes, I have lived all over 😂🙈
I was in foster care when I was younger so have been moved all over, I've lived in Baildon and Guiseley and then a few other places but always in Bradford. (Well Guiseley is classed as Leeds) lol

Me too never moved out of shipley! My dh was in foster care as a kid too so he was shuffled all over then ended up in Saltaire as a teen

I don't think I've ever lived in Shipley tbh, I lived near the post office in Baildon though. And wow so you and your dh were in foster care?

I was moved too a long term foster placement when I was 9 and managed to stay there for quite a few years but never stayed. I was a tearaway, confused by the way my life turned out and wanted answers. Ended up going back to "parents" and left shortly after, haven't had anything to do with them since.
My younger brother and sister were adopted though, both adopted young and my brother went to relatives so made it easier on him (even though he was only a baby anyway)

I'm still here! It bumps up onto my a time threads when someone comments! I would try local fbook groups for local people to meet, once kids start school you tend to meet people all the time but when they are tiny it's quite isolating.

Will try that thanks! And yeah just down the road!! Its kinda nerveracking trying to meet people! almost more so than the thought i'll be meeting my own little person in a few months!! Do you have kids?
