I work in London and currently live in Hampshire. We're seriously thinking about moving to Bournemouth within 20 min walk from Pokesdown station (probably around Boscombe East). I'll be commuting 2 days a week to London. I've done the walk from the area and feel broadly happy with it.
Does anyone commute to London on the early trains e.g. 5:19am/5:44am trains from Pokesdown? It seems a bit of a grotty station and the steps down make it seem a bit less safe. Want to get an idea of how busy it is at that time in the morning.
