Product Testers Needed!

LEWorcs · 12/01/2017 12:08

I'm pretty excited about this one!
I have been approached by a vacuum company who are looking for product testers for their new model.

You will then be given a vacuum to keep for FREE! That's right, it will be yours as their thank you!

I need 5 people who are up for this (if there are more then the company will select randomly!)

You MUST live in Worcestershire
You must have a mix of carpets and hard floors in your house
You must be able to write a review answering the company's 10 focus questions which will be provided to you
Ideally 2 people will have pets inside the house and 2 people will have kids (looking for maximum mess :-) )

The vacuum will be delivered to you in Early Feb and you be shown all it's features. You simply then need to use it and get the review back to them for the end of February.

Does that sound like something you are interested in???

If so, drop me a post on this thread. Let me know 4 things:

  1. The first part of your postcode to confirm you are in Worcestershire
  2. Whether you have pets (if so, what and how many)
  3. Confirm you have a mix of hard floors and carpets
  4. Do you have kids?

Comment on this thread, let me know and we will get back to you requesting contact details of the chosen 5.

Thanks a bunch you fabulous people :-)

  1. My postcode starts B97 - Redditch
  2. A dog with black hair who sheds like crazy on cream carpets! He also hasn't mastered wiping his muddy paws on the way in... I vacuum at least once every day to try and keep on top of this!
  3. I have karndean in the hallway, tiles in the kitchen and carpet in the lounge/dining room. I usually run my vacuum over the lot downstairs to get all the dog fur, dust and toddler crumbs in one go.
  4. I have one two and a half year old daughter who loves biscuits and dropping food everywhere!
KathStevens · 12/01/2017 22:34

Thanks Kathryn

Hi, we'd love to try it out.

We have a mix of about 50/50 hard floor and carpet. We also have a dog and three young children 2, 5 & 7. On top of this, we're renovating our home, so there's always lots of dust around!

Hi everyone.
So sorry for the delay. Here are the chosen 5:
(Drum roll....)
SunnyRandall
Rubyjean0612
NannyPlumForPM (possibly the best user name ever!)
Zara79
Noahandthegirls

Thank you all for your interest. There is a chance that the company will roll out further testing and I will keep all your replies on file should we need them.

In the meantime if the 5 chosen testers can email me with their name, postal address and a phone number (to arrange delivery of the product to test) then I can get things started.

Thanks for all the interest, hope to have more of this coming along soon :-)

Oooh hooray!! Thanks Grin

LEWorcs · 27/01/2017 11:28

Hi Ladies, thank you so much for all getting back to me so promptly. Unfortunately I have not heard from one tester so we have drawn a replacement space and that will be for Kh33 - well done!

I will be sending your details to the company (address and phone number - NOT email or MN username!) so that they can be in touch to arrange for the item to be delivered and show you how to use it.

Many thanks

OP posts:
NannyPlumForPM · 02/02/2017 14:56

Have done today- thanks!

Kh33 · 04/02/2017 19:09

I still haven't heard anything. Should I have done?

NannyPlumForPM · 05/02/2017 20:08

I've received the machine and have started using it- not sure where I write the review though. Also she was very excited I have been picked 'from thousands of people' and has taken pictures on my phone for me to put on twitter... I don't have twitter! Should I sign up?!

LEWorcs · 06/02/2017 10:37

Watch this space - i will post the link to the new review thread from here.
You can drop your picture that she took as a file to the review thread if you would like?
What is the machine like? Is it good? Has she mentioned when you receive your freebie?

OP posts:
NannyPlumForPM · 06/02/2017 12:40

It certainly comes with a lot of attatchments! It's very good as a whole system, but took 2 hours for her to go through the demo when she dropped it off (involved dry cleaning a bit of the carpet, dry cleaning the mattress, washing the kitchen floor, hoovering the stairs etc.)

No mention of the freebie yet- hoping she hasn't forgotten! She said that if I have three friends for her to pitch to for 2 hours when she picks up the machine then I would get a free window cleaner- and if 5 of my friends buy the machine then I would get one free- but I don't move in £1500 Hoover circles!

LEWorcs · 06/02/2017 13:23

I'll double check that with the PR company NannyPlumForPM
All that was required was the review for the free handheld vacuum cleaner!
