Moving to herne bay from greenwich

Hi mums we are in the process of relocating from London Greenwich to herne bay by the end of Jan with our two boys age 6 & 7 as well as our three little dogs. And advice I would be so greatful or Just to hear some of your experiences!
Any tips ?

We moved from Brockley to Canterbury 2 years ago - needed more space & a garden
Got a 7 & a 2 year old.
My dh still commutes into town which is a bit of a nightmare but we're happy we made the move.
No advice really but good luck!
