Does anyone know what is going on with Dundonald?

We had a look this morning - still mired in mud at least three weeks after it was due to reopen; the old equipment they are moving in there is completely decrepit; no-one doing much of anything on-site.

It just seems so disappointing. A real opportunity to make a great playground completely missed...

Just read this tweet (just published) from Merton Council - "Great news: The children’s playground at Dundonald Rec will be open again from tomorrow. We would like to apologise for the delay."

Well it looks like it has just opened but the 'expanded' bit is still a building site so nothing new there apart from some swapping around of equipment and the old rope climber having been put back in.
