Great Chesterford

Hello, we are thinking of moving to Great Chesterford. We have found a house we like but know nothing about the area. It looked nice as we drove round, ofsted says the local primary is good. Does anyone know it? Is the commute to London ok? Will also be travelling to Cambridge & Harlow in Essex from time to time and we have three DC5yrs and under. Will we like it? Will it be possible to make friends?

It's a lovely village. Commute to Harlow won't be bad nor Cambridge or London. There's a fair amount to do in the area including Saffron Walden. You'd probably want a car just so you can get about. If you nip into Saffron Walden and into the tourist info ask for a small magazine called salad days (it's free) but lists all leisure stuff for kids, clubs, toddler groups. It's a lovely area. If you decide to move welcome.
