Sunday Lunch Horsham Area

Hi All,
I'm new to the Horsham area- at present looking for a home there as we spend most of our weekends there.
Can anybody recommend a pub in the area the does decent, basic pub food. Somewhere with an open fire would be a big plus.
We have a son at school in Horsham and we visit him every Sunday, so looking for somewhere cosy to sit, eat and chat with him, as the park is getting a bit chilly for our usual picnics!
All advice greatly appreciated.

The Partridge in Partridge Green is lovely, it's a Dark Star Brewery pub. The Red Lion at Slinfold does nice grub, the Bax Castle in Itchingfield is quite nice too.

The Dragon in Colgate is also very good - open fire and lovely food

Oooooo yes good call OggPogg. And the Crabtree at Lower Beeding is luverly, but a bit more pricey than the others.
