Private GP

Hi,

Does anybody know of a good private GP in Cambridge?

I'm particularly looking for someone who knows about children, ENT/gastro food intolerance issues, and susceptibility to long viral infections, but anyone who just understand children more generally would be great.

Thanks!

Did you try any of the ones suggested earlier this year? I think you've had a couple of threads about ENT/Private treatment.

It may be worth trying Children's Health and looking further afield (eg London) if you've not got very far with anyone in Cambridge.

Do private GPs exist? I thought there was private practice for specialisms but not for GPs. I'm probably wrong though!

The previous thread was about specialists. I was just looking for a GP this time - someone we could visit more often for help with management of things.

There are private GPs provided by Bupa and there is one on Oxford road that I know of. I just am not sure how to find out who is good and the Bupa ones cost £70 for a 15 minute appt so it would cost a bit to try a few.

Ah ok - have you seen this practice. We used to have one of the GPs there at our local clinic and they seemed pretty good. It looks like one of them has a bit of a specialism in children

Chris Clayton-Payne looks ideal actually. Thanks for that.
