Are there any websites that have tradesman recommendations, or local forum?
DM lives in the area, and has been getting some outrageous quotes for new windows. Where I live there is a local website with a forum that I could go on to ask for recommendations, but I'm slightly at a loss as to how to find someone that isn't going to try to rip off an elderly lady.
So I thought I'd start with Mumsnet ! Any suggestions?
