Morning all, I'm the mn local person for the borders. I apologise for my complete lack of contact, I've got 4 children, the last of which is 7 months old and poorly.

Anyway just wanted to say hello, and welcome you all to the board.

If there is enough interest I thought I'd arrange a meet up - probably in Peebles. And if anyone has any questions about the area, or what's on then please don't hesitate to ask.

Winter x

Yes, I have a 7 year old dd and a 3 year old dd, both attend Kingsland. There aren't many from this area here at all, I have spoken with some people before but I haven't seen them on the board in a while now

winterland · 20/10/2016 09:34

I probably know you as both my older 3 at Kingsland too!

Yes most likely, I'm up every day looking harassed usually shouting on my 3 year old to return and move out of everyone's way Grin

Hi
So what is it about? Sorry if I’m being stupid.. Confused
I see people just post random stuff like I read one asking if washing twice a week is ok?? I though Mumsnet would be about mum n baby stuff?
Thanks

Rubyslippers7780 · 07/11/2017 16:44

Loads of mum and baby chat but also just chat. Being a parent can be lonely and if up early / all night feel isolating. Just a chance to talk to people in the same boat or who remember it and want to support others.

Ltl1982 · 07/11/2017 16:59

Yeah that’s exactly how I feel, I work 2 days a week but the other 3 days I feel a bit lonely even though my 19month is amazing it’s hard work! X
