Lots to do locally this October Half Term - what have we missed?

Hello All,

We've been busy listing things to do locally this October Half Term - starting on Saturday 15th in Nottingham City, 22nd for County schools.

We've found all sorts; week and day camps, workshops, performances, crafts, sports, activities indoors and out, plus lots of Hallowe'en-themed fun in the second week.

What have we missed? If you know of anything that might interest other local parents, please do let them know by posting below.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions Flowers

It's here! As Half Term begins in the City we've found 135 things to do in the next two weeks. There may be a few more to come too. All suggestions very welcome Smile

This is free for all women and female children, boys welcome up to age 12. Hosted at Nottingham Women's Centre which is a woman only space, hence no adolescent boys or men. It's arts and crafts with free food and drinks to make banners and placards and posters and poems... Curative forms of protest. Ready for reclaim the night but also if you just want to introduce kids to feminism, politics, self expression as protest.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Maxeys farm shop at kirklington near Newark today. A whole field of pumpkins to pick from, tiny wheel barrows for the littlies to collect their own pumpkin in (prices range between £2 to £3.50). Free entry. Also a fab tractor ride around the field and a pumpkin bouncy castle. Only £1 each. We spent a lovely couple of hours there.
