Hi there just moved into area living in hailsham had no idea all roads are so fast being a nervous driver is there slower roads to get to polegate Eastbourne and pevensey ?

Yeah there is a back way from Hailsham down to Stone Cross/Polegate. However, slower/quieter roads like that are not safer than driving down the A22 dual carriageway! A lot more accidents happen on smaller country roads.
