Cheap days out in Hampshire

Mayflower Park in Southampton is great for having an ice cream and watching all the ships and vessels. It has a playground too and lots of space for frisbee, football or a picnic. The common is good for a day out with bikes or scooters especially in the summer when the pool is open. There are loads of places, those are just the first 2 that came to mind! If you can afford an annual pass that makes going to lots of places great value over the year. It's a shame the Hampshire Culture All pass was discontinued, it was great.

Whether you like cuddling baby donkeys, grooming the ponies, playing with lively goats, tickling a pig’s tummy, or sitting holding a duck, chick or guinea pig our animals will provide hours of entertainment. There's a giant straw play area, along with "tyre" swings.
