parking for two days close to the centre

Dear Oxford parents,
Sorry, for a question which might be a it unrelated. I live in Cambridge and will have a conference in Oxford next week. I have a 1 year old baby and would prefer to only be away for one night. i am already nervous how he will cope for one night :-(
That's why I would like to drive to Oxford instead of taking the bus. The conference will be in the Centre at St. Johns College where I will also be staying. Could anyone recommend me a place to leave the car for 2 days within walking distances. Is there a street not too far away with free parking or garage where I would find space at around 10 am?

Your best bet is to reserve parking ahead of time at Oxpens, £6 per day and far cheaper than anything else you'll find in the city centre.

It's about a 20 minute walk from St Johns.
