Places to entertain a 4 and a one year-old?

Hello,

We're planning a family day out in London, for a Saturday morning and lunch-time event. Then...? Can anyone suggest good places to go with a 4yo and a 1yo within a mile or so of Liverpool St. Station? (Happy to take underground to anything good, further afield but if there's something within walking distance, all the better).

I'm wondering about parks, soft play, keeping it simple for that age group.

Thank you Smile

Museum of childhood in Bethnal Green; fountains and horse statues on Lehman St; Spitalfields City Farm and playground next door at Allen Gardens; lovely playground on Chicksand St (off Brick Lane); Museum of London by Barbican. Enjoy!

I should add, all but the Museum of Childhood are a 10 min walk from L'pool St. I think there is a soft play on Hackney Road (bus ride away) but not 100% sure.
