Moving to Oldham/ Rochdale

Please pardon my question, I'm way past being a mum.

I need to move to Oldham or Rochdale as my present home is being demolished. As a disabled person what are the nicer parts to live in where an electric chair might be safe, close to a big supermarket and ideally the trams? I'd love busy with life - I might be disabled but not dead! £70,000 is about my max. Please, any ideas?

You tried looking into shaw ? I know where I used to work there was bungallows on Victoria Street that disabled people and elderly people live. 2 mins from shaw town centre and 5 mins from the tram xx

Definitely Shaw. Victoria Street or the flats at Durden Mews. Very convenient.

If you're buying, the houses in and around Milnrow Road sometimes come up at £70000 but I think they are on a flood plain. Which in my lifetime I've never known to flood.
