Dear fellow mums, I would be grateful if anyone would shed any light on the Muslim community in Surrey as I may be relocating to Guildford/Godalming? I believe there is a mosque in Guildford? Any help or insight welcome! Thanks very much

Hi, I don't know about Guildford, but I don't think there is a mosque in godalming where I live, and no particular signs of a Muslim community tbh. Woking definitely has a Muslim community though - it has the oldest mosque in the uk, I believe. Sorry I dont have any other info.

No, nothing in Guildford or Godalming, Woking has a very large Muslim community, and a large, and very well established mosque.

I just came across this post as I too am finding it hard to meet and connect with other muslim women in Surrey and Sussex. I moved to Horsham which is not far from Guildford or Godalming.

I recently created this facebook social and friendship group for muslim women to connect and arrange local coffee meet ups, dinner, crafts or walks etc. Please feel free to join and share with anyone else that this may be of interest too.

I feel that there are actually lots of muslims in all the small towns of sussex and surrey but everyone is spread out, so I am finding a way to see how many people I can connect. 😊
