Pinner High School?

Has anyone had any experience of the new Pinner High School? We're beginning to consider secondary schools for DS, and although I'm familiar with the other schools in the area, I haven't yet heard anything regarding this one. I'm a bit leery of sending DS to such a new school, but I've been really impressed with what I've read about the headteacher. I'd love to hear any experience of the school (or even any secondhand accounts!).

Not many people will have personal experience yet because the first Year 7s only started last week. My friend is a governor and I think it has the potential to be a great school with the staff, facilities (former private school buildings) and catchment that it has. But yes it's a chance when it's so new. I assume they are doing tours now for next year?

I know a couple of people who have y7s there now, really happy so far. Seriously considering it for DD. Have visited a couple of times and been very impressed with the headmaster and whole ethos of the school. Open evening is 3rd October.
