Cygnets Travelling Art School runs after school, weekend and holiday classes for ages 5-11 in Kingston. We teach traditional techniques such as painting, drawing and sculpture, combined with unique projects, experienced staff and professional quality materials.
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for enthusiastic, creative people to join us. As our classes are only an hour long each day, this is a fantastic opportunity to work a job with minimum hours that will allow you time to focus on your own creative endeavours as well!
Artistic experience, a current DBS certificate and experience of working with children are essential.
We are initially looking for people to work alongside our current team as teaching assistants. The pay for this is £10/hour (1 hour lessons are paid at £15 to include time either side for setting and clearing up). Hours will vary from 1.5 - 9 hours a week.
We are then hoping in the next few months, and as the business continues to expand, to promote successful teaching assistants to main teachers. This would mean that you were able to run a class yourself, with the help of teaching assistants. The pay for this would be £30/hour.
