Has anybody been fined because of taking kids out during term time? A family member is seriously ill and I need to go to my home country in December for a week. I plan to tell the truth to the school but I am a bit concerned that I am going to be fined. I am not asking whether I should do this as it is not an option. I just want to know how many people has been fined and how much. Thank you
