Best estate agents in Newcastle?

Hi, I'm moving back to Newcastle from London and looking to buy. Which estate agents tend to be the most reliable? I've heard ok things about Rook, Matthews and Sayers but not so great things about Groves or Acorn, though in fairness that was the rentals depts. Anyone with recent experience?

Avoid Pattinsons - high turnover of staff and a call centre so never deal with same person and the majority are untrained.

Signature is good

RmS, your move, Bridgefords etc are much of a muchness and your experience wll depend on the branch you deal with.

If you are buying though you won't get much say in this - it wll depend on the property you fall in love with surely? Pattinsons is only one I avoid like thr plague if possible anyway!

Thanks for the advice! I've seen a couple of places up for sale with multiple agents, so wanted to double check which ones to go with if faced with options!
