Singing Group

Hi, I'm looking to start a singing group for mums and babies (and expectant mums). My sister says they're really popular in London. Do people think Wakefield mums would go for it?

Have you been watching Dragon's Den?

Seriously though, there is a mums/tots music and signing group that started around Holmfirth and the surrounding villages about 4 years ago, which has been really popular and has grown and grown, so something similar could do well in Wakey if there is nothing like that already.

I've just watched it and had a look at the Holmfirth group as well. Mine is different in that it's aimed at mums (because they need something too!). It's to give them somewhere to meet, chat and sing whilst their babies sleep, eat or cry!

I like that idea! Our local swimming baths did something similar with Pilates. They had a nursery nurse to look after older babies (1-2 ish); the toddlers tried to join in and tiny babies slept in their prams. It kind of worked... I'd come except my youngest starts school next month and I'm increasing my work hours.
