Wedding Witnesses needed - Bromsgrove

Tigsy100 · 04/08/2016 17:37

We have finally booked our wedding ceremony at Bromsgrove Registry Office which will be just the two of us. We already have two kids and another on the way so don't want a fuss. The ceremony is booked for Tuesday 4th October at 11:30. We had considered asking family or friends to be witnesses but decided against it as we don't want to upset any family members!! If anyone is able to help or knows anyone that could that would be great. I don't really want the stress of having to get someone off the street on the day!!

Oh I absolutely would have done it, but I'm working that day. If you don't get any joy, try posting in the main section of mumsnet. There are lots of Worcestershire people around!

Tigsy100 · 04/08/2016 19:35

Will do, thank you.

Hellooooooo
I would be honoured :)
(Malvern-ish)

Can scrub up well and won't be rude to the registrar

Norksaremessy isn't it a bit far for you to come from Malvern? The ceremony will probably only take about 15 min!

Bunnyhip - thank you.

Now I need to start thinking about what I can wear - I'll be 25 weeks pregnant by the time we get married so I guess it will be whatever fits!

Wooooohooooo! Am I back in the mix? Squeeeeee!

Travel for threequarters of an hour to attend the wedding of two strangers, and to meet another!
Do you KNOW how long I will dine out on that story? FOREVER!

It is pencilled into the diary.
I await further instructions.

Dont worry..I am not expecting to come on honeymoon with you. Will not demand that you feed me. Will not wear my own wedding dress. Will have clean fingernails.
I can be good, honest :)

NannyPlumForPM · 05/08/2016 13:21

Oooh congrats tigsy !! I might wait outside the church with confetti, I work on bromsgrove high street Grin

NannyPlumForPM · 05/08/2016 13:22

Obviously not church, registry office Hmm

WorcesterSource · 05/08/2016 17:15

I live in the town but am currently undergoing medical treatment so not sure how I will be on that day yet. Happy to attend if feeling well though. Best of luck.

suze28 · 05/08/2016 17:46

I wish I could come but I'll be at work (teacher) although it's our swimming session at the Dolphin so I wonder whether I could scoot around the corner very quickly!

Suze28 it won't take long, probably 15 min. We won't hang around as we'd like to go somewhere nice for lunch (sorry witnesses not invited!) but have to be back to collect kids from school - romantic I know!

Depending on what sort of food you like the tapas place just off the high street is supposed to be gorgeous ; Casa Med.

WorcesterSource · 08/08/2016 12:05

Yes,I've heard that CasaMed is very nice but not been there yet.

Tigsy100 · 08/08/2016 16:14

I've heard very good things about Casa Med too and in fact I'm due to go there with friends early sept so I could check it out first.

OP posts:
MarmiteEater · 08/08/2016 16:49

NorksAreMessy · 20/08/2016 22:25

Ahem, so am I to clear the diary?
