I'm a mum to three boys, 2 are grown up and one is 4, he goes to his dads quite often, I do get free evenings where my I'd like to go out for a drink or a meal and have an adult conversation....anyone else have friends that can't meet up of an evening for whatever reason and want to find more friends that can?

I am in a similar position to you. All my friends are married or living with someone.
My kids are away e.o.w.

Yep, near Southend, it's difficult when you have different routines to your mates, I have every friday night free and every other Saturday and Sunday free. I do have a new partner but he works shifts and he's got kids of his own so I don't spend that much time with him, plus I think it's not good spending all of your time with your partner, you need girly times sometimes
