Marden - whats it like

Hello, I currently live in Bromley with 3 children, 9, 7, and 4. Bromley is now so over crowded and traffic can be bad. I want move space and better school choices for the children. But I also want some life - activities for the children, sports clubs, gym, wine bar! Is Marden too small for this? And with Maidstone town centre safe? My friends at work keep describing it as chavvy? Any honest opinions welcome.

Aaahhh memories
I grew up in Marden. On a farm

Go for it

Maidstone is NOT chavvy?

No gym or wine bar, 2 good pubs, 2 Indian restaurants. Good tennis, cricket club, scouts for children.
Marden is a fantastic place, we love it here :)

Hi we're also considering Marden (Redrow development), along with their developments in Ryarsh and Preston Hall Aylesford. Currently live in Orpington and used to having lots within walking distance so worried about being isolated. I have a ten year old and two year old. Sara x

I live in Marden, it's gorgeous. Beautiful period cottages surrounded by apple orchards. Everything you need a short drive away, lots of options for schools, mainline station to London, we think it's great place to live!

Mrsapplepants wondering if we've met in Marden? We're actually about to move to Ashford and very sad to be leaving Marden and all our friends behind
