Sheen/Richmond afternoon/evening childcare

Hi all

Once my wife heads back to work in November we're going to be in a bit of a pickle in the evenings. Asquith nursery kicks out at 18.30, and both of us are lawyers in the City. The chance of getting back to Sheen three nights a week is almost zero.

Can any of you recommend a good nanny in the area who will be able to do nursery pick ups and look after a six month old for about 3 hours an evening, 3 evenings a week?

We had a nanny when we lived in Richmond, and I could pass on your details to her so see if she's interest but I suspect she would want more hours though - have you not considered having a full time nanny instead of a combination of nursery/nanny?

Alternatively, have you tried asking at the nursery? One of my friends used to pay a member of nursery staff to bring here two children home from nursery, give them tea and put them to bed.
