My name is Amy and i'm an undergraduate student at the University of Edinburgh. As part of my degree I have to undertake research, and I have chosen to study the pressures and expectations that middle class parents face in their transition to parenthood.
Participating will involve filling in a questionnaire, undergoing an interview with and without your spouse and allowing me to spend the day with your family whilst going about your usual business. The main areas that I am researching are social identity, gender roles and the division of labour.
