New to Wellingborough

I am new to Wellingborough and wondered if anyone could recommend and baby and toddler groups.

Wellingborough library have a great Children's librarian who is making lots of changes to the groups that they do. I particularly like Rhymetime on a Wednesday and then Messy Play on a Thursday (not all messy play. they were trying to think of a more suitable name). I think on their timetable they have a group nearly every day.

Salvation Army on Salem lane is nice on a Wednesday.

There's a stay and play Tuesday mornings at Mill Road Baptist Church too, 9:15 till 11, I think, I used to take my son there.

I used to go to one at Gleneagles social club Thursday afternoons. It was very friendly and relaxed. I didn't realise for a long time that it's run by a church, not at all preachy (luckily!). That was a lovely group.

This is probably too late for you now, but there is a lovely one on Wednesdays.

9.15am at Salem Hall, Salem Lane (just off the High St, runs parallel to Queen St where the GP is). Red brick building opposite the flats.
It has a small car park and is £1. Lovely people, loads of toys, not too rowdy .

Infant aquatics is a lovely baby swimming group
