Epidural at St Michael Hospital

Hello,

My name is Laura and I'm 32 weeks pregnant. I'm planning to give birth at St Michael Hospital and I'm thinking about getting an epidural. Any one of you has experience with this? I also would like to know if they provide a mobile epidural too.

Many thanks,
Laura

I can't offer you any personal experience, but I know they did offer mobile epidurals. Have you booked a visit yet?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Do I have to book the visit through my midwife or directly with the hospital? When I told my midwife that I want the epidural she said nothing about any visit.

Not sure tbh - when I visited you needed to phone the hospital to book, but that was before they opened the midwifery unit, so I don't know if they've changed arrangements since.

Thanks, I will check with my midwife soon.
