Hotel in Barbican area

In half-term week, DH and I are planning a night away courtesey of the inlaws, SIL has strongly recommended the Greedy Goose for dinner (which does look great), so is there a nice hotel or b and B somewhere relatively nearby? It doesn't need to be anything flash, but hopefully a bit nicer than Travelodge. All suggestions gratefully received- thanks!

Look around Liverpool Street which is five mins away. There is lots of hotels there.

You could also go for the jugged hare. Excellent quality food.

For hotel you may want to try andaz.

Do you mean the Barbican in London
or Plymouth?! If Plymouth, I would recommend the Barbican Reach B&B, lovely place and very nearby.
