Hubby and I are hoping to move to Woking over the summer. At the moment we live on the edge of London. Hubby works in central London and I'm based over Kent, Surrey and Sussex. We wanted somewhere cheaper than where we are now but with easy access to London, things to do and multicultural (as much as Surrey allows!).
We don't really know Woking so would be grateful for any advice about areas to avoid. I'm from a pretty rough area of London so am fairly hardened by hubby is a Winchester boy! We're initially looking to rent whilst saving a deposit. Our little one is due in November so want to get settled beforehand.
We have looked at other areas like Guildford but for us Woking suits us more.
