Good Primary Schools in Knowle/Brislington/Redcliffe

Hi all

We are moving to South Bristol in a couple of months and need to apply for our son to start in Year 1 at primary.

We are looking to move to Knowle/Brislington/Victoria Park area.

Could anyone recommend schools in those areas?

We can read the Ofsted reports but getting some personal recommendations really helps.

I've seen a lot of discussion on private schools on here, but we are after just a regular primary.

That's my area but am a bit out of date as my children are at secondary school now.
Have the council said anything about which schools have Y1 spaces as some schools in the area already have a waiting list?
