This leading IAPS co-educational school seeks an After School Care Manager to assist in ensuring the success of the After School Care and its integration with the normal school-day. Managing and working as part of a small team and within a well-established framework at this thriving school, this role brings the opportunity for someone with a desire to work with children (aged 4 to 11 years) in a happy and caring environment.
The successful candidate will ideally have had experience of working in a school environment. They will preferably have a qualification of NVQ level 3 or above in a relevant childcare area, or a teaching qualification. He/she will be mature, friendly and have excellent communication skills as the role will also involve interaction with parents and staff. Solid IT skills are also necessary.
The role involves working Monday-Friday, term time only, 3:00 – 6:00pm. The successful candidate will be required to undertake safeguarding training and some first aid training if not already qualified.
