Clubs for quiet children

Hi,

Does anybody know if there are holiday clubs for children with a quiet temperament - like proper art classes or chess clubs or anything like that?

Thanks!

Your question made me laugh. I don't think I know any quiet children! I know some who can be shy, but give them a few friends and a familiar environment they'll still make a racket! To give you a serious answer, I don't know whether the lego club woman is still going, but her sessions used to be pretty quiet as the children didn't necessarily know each other and just got stuck into the lego!

You could see if there's anything appealing on at www.computinghistory.org.uk/ and www.thehacklab.uk/. You might find stuff like retro computer gaming, coding or digital making (ie little robots, leds that light up to indicate the weather forecast, games that know which way you're tilting them etc).
