Moving to rural Ashford

Hi, we are moving from London to just outside Ashford (Hamstreet village is our closest), with our DS 4 and DD 10 months. Our closest primary school is Hamstreet primary. I wondered if anyone had any tips for the area? Like kids activities, play groups, play grounds, your favourite things to do and see in the area?

Hi! It's a lovely area, I'm just near there too with my DDs, 3 and 5 months. There is a playgroup on Tuesdays at brookland village hall, Little and Loud (music group) on a Friday at Brenzett School, a dance school in Hamstreet (near the post office) that does lessons from age 2, Camber Sands and Orlestone Woods are great for a walk, and a great kids friendly cafe in hamstreet, ad well as one in Appledore. If I think of anything else I'll let you know!

Great, thanks so much for the tips, we'll look forward to checking them out :)
