Hi there,

I really need some local advice please!

We are thinking of moving out of London and we have been looking at Twyford for a few months now, because of good schools and transport links to London. Along with many others I'm sure!

I am a stay at home Mum at the moment, and we have a 2.5 year old and a 5 month old, so I initially I'd hoped to be in Twyford village for easy access (walking) to shop, schools and to feel part of a community etc. We have found a nice house in Charvil, but I don't know the area at all. I would really appreciate any advice that local people can give on Charvil. Are there other young families who live there? When we visited it seemed very quiet and the walk seems quite long with a toddler. I don't want to be isolated!
THANKS SO MUCH for your help.

I'd go for Twyford, given the shops etc, plus walking to the station (car park is always packed). Charvil doesn't really have much, as far as I've noticed!
