Architect-can anyone recommend one?

I am looking for an Architect to draw up plans for my house extension in Apsley. I admit to being atotal novice on this. I would like to get someone who can discuss options/ feasibilty (budget!) and then draw up plans on the decided option. Also any idea on what they charge roughly for this kind of thing? I am wanting a 2-story rear extension to a detached house. I am told planning permission shouldn't be a problem. Any advice or recommendations gratefully received! thanks

We are doing our house extension based on our experience i would recommend you use any local architect in your area and please do no go with their builder because their charges are way too high. we went to a local architect and did our plans etc he recommended his builder and his price like 1400 to 1600 per sqm. we advised our architect to just draw up plans . we got an excellent builder who did for 1000 per sqm including every thing. so far I am very happy with their work . no hitches everything going smoothly just last touches left .
