I have an only child - DS who is almost 12.
Due to the fluid nature of inhabitants in our area (Notting Hill/Hyde Park) and the fact he is in school the other side of the river, there isn't really anyone nearby that he can just pop off to Hyde Park to skateboard with.
Is anyone else in the same boat? His friends all live miles away and he is too young to go by himself. The friends he did had nearby have all emigrated over the years and I am useless at skateboarding!
It would be nice to have some people close by to call to say 'fancy going for a game of football now?'.
