Driving from Downley to HW (Godstowe Prep School)

Hi All

I am gearing up to move to HW area next year and feel drawn to Downley.

I have read that rush hour traffic around HW can be horrid and was hoping someone could hazard a guess as to journey time from Downley to Godstowe prep school (not far from HW railway station) based on 730-800am drop off.

Apologies if it's a daft question - just thought I'd ask on the off chance some one drives this route already.

Google Maps says under 10mins however this is based on no traffic - thanks.

There is a back way from Downley to Godstowe that would miss the bad traffic however I have never driven it myself so have no idea how many other people use it. It's not far though.

In fact, 7.30 drop off will be fine I bet.

You shouldn't have any problems at that time of the day. Probably 15 mins?
