Am a mum suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum as at 30 weeks but family and husband are abroad, l really need help with someone who lives around Bexhill for my 10 year old for school drops and pickups. Please let know if anyone can help. It's Glenleigh park academy. Thank you.

Have you tried contacting the school?

ceeburke · 22/02/2016 04:51

Yes and still waiting for a reply. I contacted the council first but they said he can walk alone which they know very well is impossible as he has 3 main road to cross before getting to the school and in front of the school is another main road with no lollipop lady to assist.

I think at 10 unless there are any special circumstances he should be able to walk himself? Do the roads not have crossings, even if it means he has to go a bit out of the way?

Unfortunately no, these are 3 main link roads that leads to the hospital, main town centre and strangely they can't find any lollipop lady for the main road opposite the school. All parents are worried how a primary was built in such location surrounded by main roads. He is going by taxi now but am only on Sick Pay till maternity leave in April. I tried walking him back and on 3 occasions pass out and ambulances called.
