Moving to Tonbridge

Hello, we are considering moving to Tonbridge and want to be near the station but our boys are 5.5 and 2.5 and we are concerned that the good primary schools are oversubscribed. How likely is it that we could get into woodlands or st mary clitherow or similarly good primary schools please? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am feeling rather overwhelmed by it all.

Thank you!

All the local primary schools selection criteria is publicly available on the council website. For St Margaret's I'd suggest that being an active Catholic and living near the school will be beneficial as they give priority to Catholic families. Woodlands will be 600+ pupils if the merger plans go ahead soon so you may want to consider that in your preferences. There is an awful lot of demand due to the huge number of families moving from London specifically for the local schools.
