Brief feedback survey for local family fun run

Noah's Ark Fun Run is a family event that will take place at Wollaton Park on Sunday 3rd July 2016. This is the second year of the fun run and I would really appreciate any feedback from parents to help improve the set up and promotion of the event.

*As a thank you for your time taken to provide feedback, you will be able to claim buy-one-get-one-free on registration for up to 4 entrants. For example, if you registered 2 adults and 2 children for the race, another 2 adults and 2 children can run for free.

To claim the free entrance, register online paying entrants only. Then copy your responses to the questions below into an email, with the names
of the additional entrants that will be running for free, and send to: [email protected]'

Please provide feedback on all 5 points below to qualify for the free entry. Responses to any of the questions are very welcome too, by posting in the thread below:

  1. What is your first impression of the event and is it something that you would take part in with your family?
  1. Is the website easy to navigate for information on the event?
  1. Is the sponsorship aspect for the charitable causes clear?
  1. If you like the event and you register, how easy is the registration process?
  1. Any further comments on good points / things that could be improved?

Please answer in the thread below.

Thank you for your help!

Hello,

  1. Looks like fun. Yes, I think we would. Whether we do will depend upon a couple of other things that might be happening that weekend.

  2. Yes, I think it's pretty clear.

  3. Yes. My only question is whether the registration fee includes any charitable donation, or whether it covers admin costs only? Really, I'd much rather pay a higher entry fee and feel that I'd 'done my charitable bit' at a basic level, than have to raise sponsorship in addition. For children old enough to raise their own sponsorship, that's fine but as a parent of a pre-schooler, it's just one more task for me to carry out (and end up making an additional donation myself anyway).

  4. Haven't registered yet.

  5. Just an observation but the event is fundraising for farm animals yet the name and description is much more wide-ranging. I don't really see what tigers and zebras have to do with the event's cause (though realise this is probably me being a bit literal). Beside the point though, delighted to see the use of a 'dazzle of zebras'!

Well organized website, including a very informative FAQ section.

Looks like Noah'll have his hands full on this fun-filled day!

This looks really lovely - great costumes, lots of fun.

You were clearly lucky with the weather last year, what happens if it's raining on the day?

The FAQs are very helpful and the charitable element fairly clear. Is there a minimum or guideline sponsorship amount?

Best wishes for July!
