Communting then moving to Dorset - HELP!!

Hello All,

My husband starts a job in Poole in 2 weeks and at this stage will commute there for a few months. My question is where do I start in finding cheap accommodation for him Mon-Thurs night? Ive googled B&B's and hotels and they're ridiculously expensive...is there a site to look at that caters for commuters?

I would maybe join a couple of Facebook pages in the area and see if someone wants to rent a room out or gumtree maybe? I don't have a spare room anymore or he could have mine.:-)
