Families looking for an unforgettable day out this February half term need look no further as LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre and SEA LIFE Manchester are gearing up for a fun filled week of excitement!
Brand new for 2016, visitors to SEA LIFE Manchester will be able to see Octopus Hideout, a new exhibition which will showcase a variety of octopuses and their cephalopod cousins. Spot the Giant Pacific Octopus, one of the smartest creatures from the ocean, see the tiny Atlantic Long Arm Octopus whose arms are longer than its body and don’t miss the incredible Nautilus, an octopus in a shell that has barely changed in 500 million years!
Throughout half term, SEA LIFE Manchester will also be hosting Ancient Oceans, a week-long event packed full of activities, workshops and talks designed to teach visitors about the fascinating history of the oceans. The charismatic Dr Dug will be on hand to oversee archaeological digs and visitors will get the opportunity to learn about the evolution of the mesmerising sea creatures!
Just next door is LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre where budding builders can lose themselves in over two million LEGO® bricks! Defeat the skeletons on the Kingdom Quest laser ride, learn some exclusive tips and tricks from the Master Model Builders in their workshops and see if you’ve got what it takes to become the magician’s next apprentice on Merlin’s Apprentice ride.
Visitors to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre should be prepared for some seriously awesome film fun, with an all new 4D cinema presentation of The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure, arriving exclusively in LEGOLAND® cinemas on 12th March.

• LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester/ SEA LIFE Manchester (Attraction) will be providing 1 x day family combi ticket for the Mumsnet Manchester and Trafford website/Mumsnet Stockport and Tameside website. The 1x day family combi ticket gains entry into both LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester and SEA LIFE Manchester and has to be used on the same day. The day family combi ticket is for 2 adults and 2 children, subject to availability.
• Children qualify as up to 17 years of age to the attraction and adults must be accompanied by a child (up to 17 years old) to visit the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre.
• Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above to visit SEA LIFE Manchester.
• The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. The Prize will automatically be void if sold, offered for sale or if any attempt or offer is made to transfer the Prize for value. Photocopies will not be accepted.
• The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, or on the day of any special event at the Attraction.
• Dates must be mutually agreed between the winner and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre/SEA LIFE Manchester at least four weeks in advance. LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre/SEA LIFE Manchester shall have the right to approve or disapprove the selected dates in its absolute discretion.
• The Prize must be redeemed by 31/12/16. After this time the Prize will be invalid.
• The Prize remains the property of Merlin Entertainments (LEGOLAND®/SEA LIFE) Limited (Merlin) at all times and Merlin reserves the right to take possession of the Prize at any time and for any reason.
